1. Who handles refunds

ClickyDots is sold through Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller on your receipt, and Paddle processes the payment, the tax and any refund. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

In practice that means a refund can be started either with Paddle directly or with me, whichever you reach first. I do not need to approve a request before Paddle can act on it.

2. Your statutory rights

Nothing here limits any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer under Polish and EU law. That includes the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content.

One caveat the law itself attaches: where digital content is delivered immediately and you give the express consent required at checkout (acknowledging that you lose the right of withdrawal), that particular right may no longer apply. This is a feature of the law, not a term I have added.

3. How to ask

Email click@clickydots.app, or use the receipt Paddle sent you. Please include the email address you bought with, or the order number from that receipt. Those are what let me find the purchase.

You do not have to explain why. A reason helps me fix whatever went wrong, but it is not a condition.

4. What happens next

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Timing after Paddle issues the refund is set by your bank or card issuer, not by Paddle or by me: commonly a few working days, sometimes longer.

5. Your licence, and your notes

A refunded licence key stops being valid. The App stops being registered.

Your notes are not affected. They are plain .md files in the folder you chose, and a refund does not reach into that folder. They stay exactly where they are, readable in any editor, whether or not ClickyDots is installed.

6. Changes

I may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published on the day of that purchase.
